This heat trace power connection kit is CSA/(CUS) certified for use with self-regulating heating cables. It connects the heater cable to power and includes a pipe-mounted stanchion and a junction box equipped with DIN rail mounted terminal blocks.
The stanchion provides strong mechanical protection for heater cables installed on a pipe and allows for up to 4" of thermal insulation. The junction box offers ample space for installers to work with both the heating cable and power wires. Grounding is fast and simple, with no need for “pig-tailing” the ground braid. Additionally, hot work permits are not required thanks to the cold-applied core sealer supplied with the kit.
