These dual-and single-point microprocessor-based heat trace controllers are CSA/(CUS) certified for use in hazardous locations (Class I, Division 2 / Zone II). They are designed for monitoring and controlling heat tracing systems in a wide variety of applications.
They continuously monitor all key heat trace parameters — temperature, heater current, voltage, and ground fault levels — and alert operators to potential issues before they lead to frozen pipes or process interruptions. All alarm levels are user-settable and independent of trip levels. The controllers also perform self-checks on RTDs and switches. A “TraceCheck” feature periodically energizes dormant circuits to verify that all monitoring signals remain active.
