This heat trace power tee/splice connection kit is CSA/(CUS) certified for use with self-regulating heating cables. It can connect up to three heater cables to power, or be configured as an inline tee or splice. The kit includes a larger pipe-mounted stanchion and a junction box equipped with DIN rail mounted terminal blocks.
The stanchion delivers excellent mechanical protection for heater cables installed on a pipe and allows for up to 4" of thermal insulation. The junction box provides generous space for installers to work with heating cables and power wires. Grounding is fast and straightforward, with no need for “pig-tailing” the ground braid. Hot work permits are not required thanks to the cold-applied core sealer included with the kit.
